Motivational Interviewing Training
This training starts by exploring who we are when we help others and then moves into how we guide them towards their change goals. It walks through the Spirit of MI: a way of interacting with others that fosters positive relationships and creates meaningful dialogue, the MI skills: tools to support individuals on their journey towards change, and the change process: the four benchmarks someone passes through. Key benefits of MI Training include: increased competency and confidence, better conflict resolution skills, a more positive and energetic workplace, and greater client success.
Collaborative Case Management Training
This training is ideal for anyone providing case management services to clients or supervisors/managers overseeing these service providers. Together, the facilitator and participants will walk through the client’s journey within their organization, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to integrate this collaborative approach into their work. This typically includes stages such as referral/screening, intake, assessment, case planning, coordination of care and monitoring/evaluation. Participants will leave with a thorough understanding of the core concepts and experience practising this approach in a supportive environment.
Leadership Training
Whether dealing with organizational shifts in structure, staff retention and turnover, or employee performance, leaders are constantly adapting to change. They’re also tasked with promoting the goals of the organization to create alignment with their staff, who they must simultaneously support during these transitions. Navigating all of this successfully means having a greater understanding of what drives employee satisfaction, sustains organizational change, and increases staff performance, along with a set of tools to do so. That’s what this training provides. A realistic approach to achieve this and the practical skills to maintain it.
Communication Skills Training – Communicating About Change
This training incorporates several of the foundational concepts of Motivational Interviewing while adapting them to sectors beyond the healthcare and social services fields. It equips participants with concrete skills they can implement during change conversations with customers, coworkers, and team members. This could apply to any setting where the customer or client is required to change their behaviour, either voluntarily or as part of a recommendation.
Specialized Skills-Based Training
This training is ideal for those who are interested in strengthening one or more skills or deepening an aspect of the core training listed above. This training can be shorter in length and can occur multiple times for different types of skills to foster growth in a particular area. These training sessions can also include coaching services to address performance-related concerns or promote professional development.
